The cylinder distributor cooperated with us to build a RFID‐based Tracking system. Each and every cylinder is given a RFID Tag with unique ID that can be traced back to its birth. All cylinders have their tags scanned at each delivery and when returned from customers by drivers and warehouse personnel with ID Tech’s handheld scanners. This helps to ensure that the company are billing accurately and returning empty cylinders to the correct customers.
Total tracking means total control. This solution enables the company to maximize the return on these expensive assets as well as delivering large efficiencies in the overall business process. Under 4G network, real‐time tracking data can be updated in the company’s host server. Accurate data capture eliminates the mistakes of hand‐written notes, and thus ensures right delivery and transport.
