The Reserve Bank of India, chiefly known as, RBI is India's central bank and regulatory body responsible for regulation of the Indian banking system. It is under the ownership of Ministry of Finance, Government of India. It is responsible for the issue and supply of the Indian rupee. RFID based File Management System is implemented for better and time saving traceability of filed in the office premises.

1. RFID Tags are encoded with the file details.
2. Tags are then fixed on the files.
3. Handheld readers are provided with the file management application.
4. For searching the files, details of files are entered in the application and then the reader is swinged around the shelve to search the desired file.
5. For issuing the file, the tag is scanned and user details are mapped in the system.
6. For returning, the information is updated in the system and shelve is allotted.
